Introduction
We were approached by the owners of this beautiful home to be to build frames and install membrane to create a high performance house that would be comfortable even when the wind from the sea is blowing. This partial renovation with breathtaking views certainly was a great project to work on.
Process
Our initial process was to meet with the owner builder to better understand his needs and how we could better help build the house he wanted. After discussing it became evident that the use of weathertight and air tight membrane would be a great fit for this home that sits on top of Malabar’s cliff over the ocean.
We opted for the Pro Clima Extasana membrane which is a complete wind proof membrane.
Our full team was on site working hands in hands with the owner to make design meet reality.
Making Old And New Work Together
This renovation presented some challenges as the existing lower floor and first level subfloor needed repairs. Our team used their expert knowledge to tackle all challenges efficiently.
Quality Framing
Square, plum, level and straight. If it was our slogan it would certainly suit our guys. Applying quality carpentry techniques our team built this designer home up to the highest quality standards.
